Pipe bender info needed

At the moment i am playing with the idea of buying my own pipe bender, So i can make my own roll cage, space frame, and exhausts. I am budgeting at least a few grand on one. Probably a second hand one would be best. Can anybody give me any info on what i will need on a pipe bender or what type and where to buy one. As i have found a lot of places in the US selling them but none in the UK. It would be used for prototype and one off work, So would not need the high volume production systems on it.
Thanks in advance.

Over here you can buy benders with a hand pump that bend up to 3" pipe for about $300 Aust. They are made in Asia and they're quite ok
They also come with a set of dies from about 1/2 to 1" up to 3" in 1/2" increments

I'm sure you would find a similar kit over there

good luck

If you have a look at my menbers page see link below we did quite a bit of work recently with a tube bender.
Also be awear their is a difference between a pipe bender and a tube bender, also the tube bender quility is less important than the quality of the die to bend in itself.
