Hi,

I have an JVC unit purchased overseas, that didnt come with an harness. I have found this harness on ebay that will fit. In my car now, I have a plug that went into the old unit, it has many little pins, round ones, 2 rows. Would I be able to get a male version of that, and wire it up with the above harness? Does anyone know what Im talking about? If so, does anyone know where I would be able to buy that plug?

Cheers,

Jo

i think i know what your after, a loom to go from the standard stero plug to the aftermarket head unit......auto barn has this sort of thing, although because yours is an overseas unit i couldnt be sure if you will be able to get one to suit your needs

Thanks,

Your right. I went to InCar earlier today, and they had the plug I needed. The painful thing is, that I tried to make it myself with wires from jaycar, it cost me $18 and many hours and some blisters. InCar had the exact adapter straight up, and it was $15, and a 10 minute job....
