Two options?
I'm looking at the moulded plastic ones.... reason you ask?

WEIGHT

3lt Diesal, don't want to put it under any more streess than I have tooo... have done the diff once already.... under warranty so thats OK.

But was told by a friend to look at the plastic.....

USE........ Touring (BUSH) easy to medium 4 x 4..........

Originally I was going to get the ARB winch model.............reason

Need a bullbar and 4 resale it is better to have the winch comp..

So if anyone has some feed back much appriciated....

i have a TJM winch compatable bar on my 93 dual cab lux. its a solid steel one and is pretty darn tough. i wouldn't even consider a plastic one. Mine is not that heavy. i can lift it, so its probably about 30kgs. its not that much extra stress on your vechicle

Weight.

Thanks...... I'll go and check out the spec's and see what the weight difference is..........
I just presummed the steel would be a lot heavier.

Thanks

The fat bloke in the seat next to you would be putting more stress on the Oiler than the bull bar. :D

Try telling him to eat a few less parma's.

Good on ya... I'd rather be fat than anemic...

If the plastic ones are lighter I recon they would be the go. I used to have an idependant froont end ute and it handled poorly when I added a steel bullbar.
A mate just got a Patrol with a Smart bar with winch and it looks quite good. Also the shape is more curved making it a bit more sensible for around town use.
