Hey guys,
need ur experience for my next purchase.....new leaf springs for the rear.
anybody had exceptional luck with OME, Lovells, Rockcrawler leaf springs? any bad experiences?
Want new springs cos my OE leafs are flat and want more lift as well as wheel travel in the bush.
Please no replies telling me to replace with IFS rear leafs, cos they already are IFS rear leafs!
Any opinions would be appreciated.
Cheers

put larger extneded shackles on them and wind up your torsion bars

torsion bars are wound up as max to clear the 33s, dont want to go any higher, cos then it'll be nose high!!
New longer shackles was on my list, but I want to change the springs anyway, cos I want more load carrying capacity, toyo original equipment I dont think could ever carry the nominated 1 ton!!
Thnaks for your input De-lux, but im still after peoples experiences with after market leafs.
Thanks.

i don't have IFS rears and ext shackles in mine (yet), i have OME 2" lifted springs and TJM series 2000 shockies. this combo is pretty crap in my opinion, its a very bumpy ride, offers very little flex. I think the springs are actually load carrying ones. i can tow my mates ski boat (its a few tonne) and it doesn't even lower, but as for offroad, nah, i reckon they're crap

I am running the OME set up front and rear - roughly a 2" lift
I am pretty pleased with the set up as it suits my needs.
I am set up for touring with a bit of weekend bush work. The travel is better than original especially with the extended shackles - huge improvement
I have a canopy and outback draw system which is constanly full of gear and the set up handles the extra weight exceptionally well - especially on the road. It corners now better than in orginal condition when it had no weight in it.
hope this helps
