3F swap for 1hz or 1pz or 14bt

I want to go to a diesel donk in my FJ73 cruiser but I am not going to do all the work and risk it being under powered so the 13BT and 2H motors are out.
I have the A440F Auto and would like to keep it, I know the 1HZ came with an auto so the bell housing and flex plate won't be hard to find, but is the 1PZ (I have found a factory turboed one just trying to get the price down) identical in the crank will the 1HZ Bell and Flex suit?
and the 14Bt I have not heard of 3B or 13Bt with an auto behind it (it would be a bit slow?) is there a bell housing and flex plate that may suit that swap? (I think the 14BT has an 8 Bolt crank and the 13Bt only 6?)
any ideas?

Never heard of a factory turbo 1pzt...only the 1pz and only in the shorty pj70... well, here are a few ideas....1fzfe, 1uzfe (these will all go on a a440 with factory bells) 1hdft, 1hdt 1hz...(all use thesame bell) aswell as a 12ht which is thesame bolt pattern as 2h and these bells came out on the a440 in the 60 series aswell....the 12ht is a good powerful motor, just hard to find cheap....
of all these, the hdft would be best, as it doesnt need glowplugs (just an electric pump to circulate the diesel through the filters and to the injection pump if you want it to perform.) remember the 70 wasnt designed for a hdft motor as far as fuel system goes...
Damien on here has a 1hdt in a 60 series, and it flies, so get ready to hang on.
Your model came out with a 13bt auto...these are not that slow, especially if you play with them...but they are nothing to the grunt of a hdt/ft

Thanks Andrew
Yep the 1PZ is still in car which was factory complianced in Australia the rest of the car is crap though, it came from the mines
I also have my eye on a 12Ht still in vehicle for around 6k but not sure on condition yet
So just clearing something up, the 2h bell is definately different to the 1hz/1hdt isn't it?.... just that you mentioned them in the same sentence and I got a little excited

At least for a manual gearbox, the 2H and the 12HT share the same bellhousing and gearbox input shaft. The 1HZ, 1HDT and 1HDFT share a different bell and input.

I don't know much about automatics. But be aware automatics need some sort of a signal input from the engine to shift. The mechanism may not be there if the engine is from a manual. Then you have to find a suitable flex plate / flywheel and torque converter for the engine. If you change radiators (to accomodate for different coolant inlet and outlet locations) you have to find one with a gearbox cooler as well.

It would be much easier if you find a complete engine with automatic gearbox attached IMO

This is true of the electronic auto, but the a440 is a hydraulic auto and the kickdown cable is the only feedback.
These a440's are renowned to run hot, so whatever you put in front, get enough cooling for it, or if you tow, it might cook.
Also, if you use the diesel, you will need to get bell and converter, which stalls lower on a diesel.
Sooo, id be looking in pickles.com for a writeoff wreck...every now and then you will pick up a whole car for half what they want for a motor.

Yep Thanks across all of that no worries
but is it true about pickles and other auctions I had considered it but thought they would be to expensive considering a wrecker can sell all the diffs and transfer etc seperately ...and I don't have the room to wreck a car not to mention how much trouble I would get into...if it sat there too long
any ideas on prices?
