After getting a price at both places the bloke from townandcountry says that theres is better because there unit only charges one battery at a time depending on wich one needs it! ARB are $700 as apposed to T&C,s @ $500, what you reckon blokes?

What are you getting for that kind of cash?
The actual electronic controlling component should not cost you more than $120.00, the rest is just mounting hardware you can make yourself.

Depending on whether you are running a deep cycle battery or a normal battery as the auxiliary you want a slightly different set up.
My old man used to supply these and has settled in in Melbourne now (moved down from Nanango), so I think he can once again supply either version at around $120.
This is for the gear to connect your two batteries together and control the charging so that your starting battery is always kept fully charged.
Mounting the second battery in the engine bay (or elsewhere) is a separate issue but should cost very little.
Let me know if you want me to ask him about this.
Is this for a GQ?
