Greetings,
Just curious to know if the '4 psi rule' that I found mentioned a lot when I just did a search for tyre pressures is applicable to my situation.
The tyres that are fitted to my '89 GQ (which were on it when I got it) are 32x11.5 R15LT BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A's and I was chasing some suggested pressures for road driving. I've been running them at ~34psi, which seemed to be fine, but I'm starting to notice some shoulder wear, which is slowly making them look more like my bike tyres! They were only a couple of thousand kms old when I got the car, and they were pretty much flat right across the tyre. I've done about 10K kms at that pressure.......is this sort of wear normal, or am I running these too low perhaps?
