I 've got some recaro's with standard rails and wanted to know where in sydney can I get them welded up to fit into a GQ shortie.

I want to have the seats enginered so I dont have any probs with cops and insurance.

I live in Kingsgrove so is there somewhere close to me that can do this for me.

cheers

Joe

why not buy an adapter plate to mount to your OEM rails? Piss easy to fit, and best bet to get engineered

every car i have had so far including my gq i have made my own rails, and never had a prob with cops and rego checks. Id just make my own using the original raials and some box section and flat plate. thats my opionion, as you would be looking a over $100 for the rails plus engennering. or you can get the metal and get a mate to weld it for less then $50. all up i payed $100 to put in some swift GTI buckets into my patrol, as thats how much i paided for my seats.
I also found the race buckets i had (monza) didn't fit in my patrol as they were to wide.

Hope this help.
Cheers
