really... Dumb question but were the smaller engine variants the ones that came with the smaller tanks ?? My fugly yellow td42 POS is one of the first batches of GQ's it has a 95 lt tank...
I have heard folks claiming the same as you.. I just tell them not to use the hi-flow pumps...

mine a 90mod 4.2, should be 90ltr from the look of it, just never fits that much in.....maybe if I ran her dry it would, but one jerry 1/3 fills the thing according to the gauge

Is yours a Nissan Aus import or one of the jap imports. Nearly all of the Nissan Aus ones have the 95lt tank. I did once put 93lts in mine.
Where as alot of the jap imports have the 65lt tank.

Not that I know of.....Two of my wrecks have 65 litre tanks, one had the TD42 engine, the other TB42 engine. The other TD42 wreck had 95 litre tank, as does my own TD42 SWB. All vehicles above are Safari's. I'm not sure what the theory behind the different tank sizes is?
