has anyone done this and if so whats involved apart from the engineering. Is there a easy way to extend the cap ie use the back of another ute and just add sheet metal between the pillars and sew the roof back together.
Just thinking about some more room in the cab and the idea of moving the rear window back about 600 appeals to me.

There are kits available. In WA TL engineering make them make them for local tradesman and they are a 600mmm extension.

Someone has a rust free kit for sale in WA inc extended roof and all the metal body parts you need, rust free he says.$800
If your interested Ill PM the Perth phone number

I dont have any pics and I havent seen it. I can only pass on the number and you can take it from there. Check your PM

It would cost 3-4 times that to purchase the kit new.

Mine was done by a mob in Melbourne called Multi Drive Technoligies. They charge about six grand for the cab and $1500 for the chassis extension to match. I think it measures 350mm. They use a full fibreglass roof and slit and extend the cab with a matched section between the door pillar and the back. It is a practicle job but not that pretty, much like the rest of the 75.

Yeah mate mine is similar but not as long. It has a squarer window, and to my way of thinking looks a bit more factory. Tried to post pics testerday and today but having problems with the web page. I will try again later.
