Low Range Gearsets

G'day all, I've currently got the gearbox and transfer case sitting next to my mav because i'm replacing the rear main seal. The thought crossed my mind that I should put a new gearset in while its all out and easy to get to. (any excuse!) I shopped around on the phone and most places up here in Brisvegas need to ship them up from sydney and I can't wait that long I need the vehicle back and running immediately.

I investigated the gearmaster ones sold by marks adaptors and also the rockhopper sets. They are both similarly priced at around $1200 supply. The marks adaptors provided 87% reduction where as the rockhoppers 81%. I would think the difference would be very little in real terms. Anyone got any opinions on quality, ease of fitment of each brand? I don't think it would be a difficult job really, there isn't much in the kits themselves.

Ya might also try asking this in the nissan section, probably a better chance of getting a response from someone who's actually fitted a set
