Hey guys – twisted a sector shaft a few weekends ago on my HZJ75. I have searched already and it appears to be nothing about what people have done to prevent this from reoccurring. Any ideas [other than slowing down and putting smaller boots on] are appreciated - hydro assist maybe?

high steer is the best way to avoid it - or a pitman arm with more droop - it is the angle between the draglink and the ground that causes sector shaft twist on lifted trucks, it is usually nothing to do with the size of the rubber.

hydro would help but it is an expensive road to go down. so is high steer I spose. is your 75 spring over?

Thanks Brian. It is not spring over – but just as tall as a spring over hence the weakness you explained.
