Forum for engines
This may seem stupid but how about a forum for engines for guys like myself and others who have different engines and conversions in there forbies. Theres a lot of info to be had that can help others out when doing conversions or just working on there cars.
I will agree with that one...
Anyone trying to do stupid things with engines/transmissions (Holden 3.8 + 4L60E) to other stupid vehicles (like Kia Sportages) is going to need all thie info he can get.
Seroiusly with the number of buggies being made, a seperate section for Engine Tech thread would be useful (in a similar vein to the Auto Electrical thread).
General Tech would still continue for things such as winches, fuel systems, gearing/diffs, and so on, but there is enough info on modifications to engines and their immediate surroundings (exhaust/intake/injection system setup) for it to be on its own. A lot of the engines may not come from typical "4WD" vehicles so can throw a few unforseen problems in your face when adapted.

George Carlin, an American Comedian said; "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise that half of them are stupider than that".
change
Great idea.
Also any chance of having the lightning bolt change to a different picture when you have opened a PM. My friend is colour blind and it makes it a bit difficult for him to reply to PMs as he doesn't khow what he has or hasn't opened.
Cheers
