as topic sais is allright to put 235's on a stock zook 15x6 rim as my mate has just upgraded from his poojabba (pajero) to a 91 zook and he has nearly new 235/70R15 on his paj and wants to put them on the zook before he sells it but the zook wheels are 15x6 so hes not sure if the 235's are to wide for that

FWIW, my old land Cruiser is booked in for a set of 235/85R16 muddies on Tuesday and they're going onto my 16x6 rims.

Was looking at 235/75 bfg muddies and they fit a 15x6, so i would assume 235/70's will fit. However my stock rims are 15x5.5....

6" rims are legal for 30" so 235/75 no problems. However many zook rims are 5.5" which is not legal (although it's ok)

Running 31" on 5.5" rims is stupidity.

Generally they try and keep the tyre width to about 1.2-1.3 times the rim width.

Hence a 9" wide (30x9.5) is not legal on a 5.5 rim.

Recommended for 31 is 8" rim (although 7" is legal). 10.5/8 = 1.3:1

10.5/5.5 = 1.9:1.

eek!

The Pajero stock rim is 15x6 fitted with 235/75/15. But I think you'll find the zook has 15x5.5. If not and it has 6" than its all good.
