93 Estima

Bought one for $2500, has a turbo diesel in it, the motor is rattly, the turbo is a reco one, bloaws smoke, any idea what a engine is worth for this or is it cheaper to rebuild?

Think it is an imported mini van/people mover.

Think so, still haven't checked everything on it yet, will find out more today as it is a present for the missus.
Estima is a imported 4WD Tarago, it has Estima badges on the back and Lucida on the side.
It comes with Power windows, Air Con, Sun Roofs, Hot cold box and lots of other wonderful things.
There are a couple on www.tradingpost.com.au you have to select used cars/people movers/toyota/estima
It is a 1993 model and they are listed at around $15000

Car needs an engine, took it to the local guy and he stated around $5000 for it to be repaired, he also stated he couldn't get a engine like it, I made 2 calls and found one for $1100 delivered.
