Hey guys,
I've got a 1998 100 series with just a 2" lift, plenty for me (for now ) But i was wondering what size tyres i could fit under without any cutting or anything, and what i could fit under with just a little but of cutting, I'm trying to figure it out before i go around looking at tyres, and i dont wanna have to go to a place and ask to try on a tyre to see if it will fit, its not like a shoe store, they should be but hehe,
I'm looking at getting mungrols of JT2's something with a little bit of bite, but not to costly, I'm guessing 33 for no cutting and MAYBE 35's with alot of cutting,

Ive got 34 JT 's 2 on mine with ome 2 and a bit lift rubs on the front mud flap when suspension compressed and steering near lock. ended up taking off front flaps before they were ripped off.
Other than that on problems. oh width was 11.5 rubbing seems to be left
side mostly

Does anyone think u can run 35's with only a 2" lift?

The reason im asking is i have heard that u can on an 80 and was wondering if there would be any difference?

I have heard of running 35's an a 2" Lifted 100 but you need to chop out some of the plastic mud flap at the front (Or remove them !!)

hey me again i have an 80 series and until recently I had a 2"inch old man emu suspension 30mm coil spacers and long travel shocks, with no sway bars I had 285/75R16 and the rear tyre scrubbed on the inside tub.
Now I have a 2"inch body lift, I run 35/13.5R16 Claws no bump stops and they don't scrub at all. I had enough clearance to fit 35 before the body lift, but I would have scrubbed out more. Note: 100kg coils in the rear.

If i leave the swaybars connected do u think i would still have problems with 35's

it should be better if you can clear them under your guards then your sway bars will limit your wheel travel thus your 35s shouldnt scrub.
you can legally do a two inch body lift thats a option then they will def fit k hope i helped
