Hey there guys.

I know I am bugging you alot with my body lift issue, but since I am a rookie in the business, I want to ask if any of you guys know of a company or shop that sells or makes ready made, full , comprehensive body lift kits for a Patrol GQ LWB.

Thanks a million.

Where ever you get your kit from, make sure they use zink plated H/T bolts as I have pulled out plenty of rusted out black H/T bolts on older lifts.

Cheezy, do you know anywhere I can get a good kit from?

If not, can you give me more detailed specs and maps.

Thanks

We sell the kits here with the bolts, we make our own kits, we don't buy them in.

We use polyetherline blocks with black H/T bolts, have used the same material for the last 4 years never had any problems.

PM me for details

I have to agrea with Cheezy. Do not use Black H/T bolts. I used these with Poly blocks on my Hilux and when i rolled it and then had to remove the cab i had to cut some of the bolts off because they were rusted in big time. These had only been fitted for around 1.5 years.

You may also want to think about reinforcing the floor where the bolts go through, in our LWB we pulled the back 2 bolts through the floor and the ones under the drivers and pasengers feet were begining to suffer from the same problem.
This problem may have been caused by us driving like complete and utter lunaticks most of the time, so if you are a half sensible driver you may not have this problem.

Adam had the same thing in Ptrool, SWB he had 1 mount holding the body on in the end.. he could feel it floating!

There was a point where we were traveling down a steep hill and we could feel the back bouncing off the mounts, felt like the body was gona come off the chassi.

For the back we cut holes into the floor big enough to fit some plate and the mig to weld them.

We have followed drafty & Co a heap of times & you know the big trucks with the floating cabs that rock up & down. ha ha (you get the picture) Also comes in handy for letting the Henty river exit the cabin quickly!
