80s Front Suspension

Hey Guys. got a problem. ive smashed the mount that holds the front trail arm on the front diff housing. was thinking of cutting the mounts and putting the arms ontop of the diff housing, can people please give me some ideas of what 2 do with the front suspension, oh the car has only 4in lift and thats how it will stay.

You should give diesel80 a PM because he has just fitted a GQ laminated front and cut/shut all the mounts to accomadate his lift and the GQ housing.

hey guys im not looking at changing the whole front end around. just want ideas on if it good idea 2 put the arms on top of diff housing or not, if some1 could give me the pro's and cons about it would be much appreciated. oh and its a change on a low budget. cheers

Putting the arms ontop is changing the hole front end around.......
Its on of the best mods i have done drives awesome now and sorted a few other problems out at the same time....

Yeah - fun a ang games.. Good upgrade to the 80 - shorter stub axles and so on... Good cpnversion though - nice to have 9" in the front!
