Suspension Lift or Front Locker??????

Have a LWB NL - fairly standard running 31" tyres. Looking at the next step (have snorkle, winch, lights etc). Do I go for a suspension lift - looking at the Tough Dog's or do I go for the ARB air locker?
Yes both are the ideal but which is the first step?
Suspension lift allows bigger tyres but the set I have will have to do for a while. Are Tough Dogs the better option? T/b's are already full and will need re-indexing to acheive anymore height.
Locker will allow the slowly slowly aproach rather than right foot down aproach, but without clearance will it really make a great deal of difference?
Any suggestions???? And if possible the reasons - choice in brands as well. Have read the FAQ's and gleaned as much as I can.

Buy a Disco or a Patrol
Only kidding!
Go the suspension lift first. You already have a winch so you can always get yourself out of trouble. The Paj is fairly capable without lockers, but it does scrape it's under belly a lot. Then I would buy bigger tyres before I would even consider a locker. Lockers won't get you any further if the Paj is on it's belly scraping the ruts with the rear diff.
Why Tough Dogs? There are others that are just as good and probably cheaper (read better value for your money and performs just as well).

Thats a pretty hard choice you have to make!
The front lift is free cause anyone can do it in their own front yard. If your current shocks are still going fine, then I wouldnt bother touching them till a later date. And the rear lift is pretty cheap also, for a pair of springs, most shops quote around $170, these can be fitted at home with basic tools also.
Whereas the locker is a fair bit more expensive!
Personally I would choose the locker, I know how good the rear 3.5 locker is so putting one in the front would make things a lot smoother and easier on the car.
Plus 33s will fit your car without a lift anyway...
decsions decsions...

I totally agree with Alberto get the lift first and get the underbelly clearance. Don't worry so much about wheel travel the extra clearance will far outweigh 1-2" of lost downtravel.
A front locker would be next as the lsd's work pretty well anyway.
With a set of muddies it will go well.

Its a hard one - but having spoken with a few 'experts' (excluding the posts)- the beast is going for a lift.
TBars next week and then custom springs. Will re-eval the shocks once this is done but they seem fine at present. Will probably go for the Centipedes or Mongrels or the Silverstons.
Will start hunting for the wheels and rubber shortly.
Thanks for the advice guys.... (excluding the Disco / Pootrol jibe
)

Dont know if you have done the lift yet Sean, but as Frank & Alberto said, is the way to go 1st I reckon.
As you know, I went lift (Old Man Emus) then 2nd set of tyres/rims then the locker. In regard to tyres, have a look at the monoforms whether it be muddies or mongrels. Better stuff out there for sure, but value hard to beat.
BTW, I cannot fit 33's under mine, but probably partly due to the rims I'm running.
Keep us informed.
Cheers

go with the sus lift first.....it's hell of a lot cheaper. looks cool and functional, too. you got a winch so you can still get yourself out of trouble.

yep go the suspension first (mine was FREE) got a set of nissan gq springs and lifted the rear abut 90mm wound up the front bars put some big tyres (32x11.5 going to 33's soon)on goes very well, removing the sway bars will give u more articulation for even better offroad ablitity then if u still need it go the locker (I'm saving) and maybe some of those articulators
