has anyone got conditional/club rego for their fourby?
was talking to a mate with a hot rod last week and asking how they got them registered with no guards etc. They have conditional rego.
it seems that this would be perfect for a comp truck

whether conditional or full street rego
ALL REQUIRE GUARDS TO B FITTED
full rego its up to the cops to defect u if u dont use them
club rego , the federation will cancell your rego....all it takes is 1 person to dob u in........ they will generally give u a warning first
only way to get the club rego is to put a hotrod body on the 4wd chassis
even a barely resembling pre 48 body u "may" get away with if lucky
but a 40series cruiser i doubt very much would cut it

what about "dune buggy" conditional rego so they can use Stockton?
or is this just with that council and that particular piece of land?

Just been reading up on it, I guess for a 4wd as long as it over 30 years old whch my G60 is I'm sweet as long as it's originla except for safty upgrades. Brakes tyres etc.
The other thing you can use if for testing and club trip etc, hey I can only test 4WD on the dirt !!!

Rally cars get conditional rego via a CAMS agreement with the RTA, so unless CCDA organise a similar program it wont happen.
