Extended lengths is more commonly used.
For the rear the extended lengths I can get in Procomps with eye top and pin bottom are 24.5 inch(622mm) 26.5 inch(673mm) and 27.5 inch(700mm).
For the front there is a bigger Range. Cruisers and Patrols use the same shocks.
I don't know anyone in Sydney but I can deliver them to you for free. They are $125 each.
You can email me at
fwdstuff@bigpond.com or phone on 0409 593 414

The longest length Procomp shock has a 915mm extended length and 15.6" travel (affectionatly known as 16"). This shock is eye to eye so if you need a pin to eye adapter add 30mm to your extended length. The next length down is about 865mm extended length.
For ther dedicated rear Range Rover/ Discovery shocks.
I think 24.5" would be 10" travel
26.5" would be 11" travel
27.5" would be somewhere between 11.5" and 12" travel.
Price is $125 each. A bit cheaper if you buy a set.
