EEP Brake Failure

Hi All,
This morning i had the delightful experience of brake failure...
Found the problem, one of the steel brake lines was rubbing against the vaccuum thingy(tm) and had worn all the way through....
I have a 86 toyota hilux (Sr5, YN67) and was wondering if anyone knew what the thread size is of the brake line that has the coil bit on it, i think it is for the rear?
Thinking i might replace it with a straight through braided line rather then a line that look waaaaaaaay to long for what it neds to be (has 2 or 3 "coil" loops before heading back towards the vacuum thingy(tm) then heading down)
Thanks
