dash switches not working

hi gang,
i haven't had a chance to look at these problems in detail but the rear wiper, and rear defogger don't work at all and the tailgate only unlocks intermittantly (it dosen't lock at all). do these switches have a common ground or something or am i just barking up the wrong tree? it would be good to have some direction before i go pulling everything apart. fuses are good. it's a v6 nf.

p.s. does anyone have a drivers side seat belt in roadworthy nick?
