um il park the car in the garage while you do that
one it would have to be a insurance issue in a acco
and to your asking for trouble ,there was talk of this in the tech section were the guys come unstuck n nearly crashed big time
not something i would advice and the guy from pedders should know better unless he was an apprentice

I wouldnt do it Dave. I drove to work and back for two days without front shocks and I wouldnt do it again.
Just like a pogo stick mate. You almost have no control over the vehicle.
And, like was said above, if your in an acko.......your GOOOOOOOOOOOONE.

I would SERIOUSLY not advise you to drive anywhere with out shocks. You would have next to no control of the car and your braking performance would be seriously compromised due to the lack of constant tyre/road contact. An accident is definately waiting to hapen if you do so...

I had to drive with no shocks for about 2 weeks while we
worked out shockies (absolute neccessity and only 10Kms to
and from work) and yes it gets scary, but only if you are aggressive
with the controls. If you brake suddenly or turn sharply, you can do
it initially, but be prepared for a whole lot of recoil.
So make sure you slow down gently, using the engine where posible
(ie drive as if you have a tray full of rare porcelin)
and maintain at least 2 car spaces in front to allow gradual braking,
you'll be OK
BUT really this should ONLY BE DONE AS A LAST RESORT.
I'm just telling it the way it was for me so you do know what to expect
if you do end up doing naughty shockless activities.
NOTE:- IF you hit any big deveations/potholes in the road at speed, the front end of the car litterally jumps off the road, but if you've done any high-speed sand duning work, you'll know the feeling
and hopefully react accordingly

The guy from pedders is missing a few other things too.
For fun drive it off a gutter at about 5 km per hour.
Then once you stop laughing think about how it would feel at 60/80/100 when you hit a pothole or have to swerve.
Park it in the gargae and don't take it out (unless for more low speed kerb hopping fun) until you get some shockies.

My apprentice drove around for 2 weeks with no brakes!!!!! tried to tell him it was a bad idea but you know teenagers!!!!!!!!!!
I even offered to fix it for him to keep him off the road but even that didnt work. He survived and got them fixed eventually
