Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Im going to lift the cruiser either 4 or 5" and run some 35's or 36's. will this make my cruiser realy unstable in the bush or should i get some wheel spacer to put on when i go wheeling? If so what size spacers would be good, to help make it stable again?

that sort of lift and tyre combo will not need spacers. See if you can get some wheels with a negative offset - about 25mm negative offset wheels might be available altough I understand aftermarket steel wheels are a bit hard to come by for 100's. with some extra wheel offset, the additional width in your bigger tyres will be sufficient to offset the increase in height of your vehicle.

I have 33s with a six inch lift. Stability wise you don't need spacers but as I've found the 105s rub on the inside of the fender well on the rear. I've extended my bumpstops to reduce this but this also reduces up travel. I've been trying to get some offset steel rims and found the most I can get is 12mm. If you go with wider tyres this prodlem would probably be worse as your tyres will be closer to the inner wall. I think from measurements of my truck at full compression I could easily go with two inch spacers but I think for the best result I will have to go to someone who stocks them and has a RTI ramp and try different sizes.
If you can find any tyres with a larger offset I would be interested to hear where you got them from.
