I just picked up a wreck from a mates fiancee who toalled it, and its got a 4afc in it not a 4age like i was expecting. Does anyone know about this engine? Does it have the same bolt pattern as a 4age? Whats the differences?
I forsee the dizzy will still be a problem, i just find a right angle drive for it.

have a look at the side of the block where the engine mounts should bolt on (for rwd applications) some have them and some dont the holes might be there but not tapped if so it will not be any goot to you for turning it into rwd

i can tell you, they are a good strong motor!
my sister has one, it has done 330,000 no rebuild and she gives it hell! i beleve they are a 4age bottom end with the "F" head witch is more econamie... "G" stands for power.
will bolt up to a sprinter or ae71 (4ac ke70) box and should go nice in a zook. they have more taque than a 4age..

My biggest annoyance is its carby, but i can learn to live with that for the power it outputs.
So will it bolt up to a T50? They were in the sprinters werent they?
