Does any one know if the ORI crossover steering arm will work on the average holden v6ed hilux with no cross member droping? Any help would be great (as ORI do not seem to want to answer my email)
I have searched but cant find an answer.
Cheers.

I have a lux with the V6 in it.
i didn't do the conversion (roc70y did it) but the cab has a 3" body lift and the drivetrain is all quite high so there is no sump clearance issues. with that in mind, i know some guys are running cross-over without the dropped hangers so i'd say that yes, it would work provided that the engine is high enough.
cheers joel

I think you'll be struggling to clear the sump. When I fitted hi steer to mine I didn't have enough clearance under the sump. Options were bodylift and engine lift, or reverse sump.
I think cross over will give you the same problem.

Give them a ring, that is the best way to contact them. They are only a couple of guys and lachlan is most of the time on the floor working aswell. If it goes to answering machine, dont leave a message just ring back a little later. You will get through.
