rangie or disco

hi, i'm in the market for a new vehicle and have just about decided on a rover.i know nothing about them so any help would be much appreciated.i've done a bit of a search on the subject but still want to know if rangies came out diesle auto?thanx in advance guys for any help.

No diesel auto rangies in the budget bracket only the horrible vm powered manual late 80's rangie, you will want a disco then, tdi auto from 94 up.

Only 2 short years ago, I'd never even sat in a LandRover. Now I own 3, and want more.

The TD6 comes in auto, but they start from about $135k

No chance of getting a diesel Disco for 5-7k.
Unless you want to spend another 5-7k fixing it!
Maybe a V8 Rangie on gas, 80's model.

FYI I am currently getting around 10l/100km round town
.... mind you my rig is pretty stocko
