Hey,

Just wondering if anyone has done a fueltank lift in a WT sierra?

doing a 2" BL as well. It looks like i can get about 2-3"s out of it but unsure on the right way to do it.

Only search ref i found was: http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/PHP_Modul ... =tank+lift
Thanks

Nic

the problem with lifting the tank in its original location is that the filler neck on the tank will have to pass through the chassis to hook up to the filler neck in the gaurd. I have not lifted a standard tank for this very rearson. I have however replaced it altogether. ( see the zook fuel tank thread)

I was thinking of replacing the L bend with a S bend over the top of the chassis rail if possible. Utilising the std filler neck.

Little off topic sort of...
But I was thinking. Why doesnt one of the custom 4wd fab places make a long range style tank, ie strong steel plate, that is still around the same capacity as standard (maybe just a little more) so as to keep max ground clearance.
As an added bonus they could make models specifically to suit a BL with moved mounts and fillers.

I reckon there would be quite a market not just with zooks.

PS if any shop decides to do this I want royalties :finger:
