Jay-Dee Auto Cables Pty Ltd

19 Ramage St Bayswater VIC 3153

That said, I only was able to get the white plastic ones but they are doing the job. The black "bakerlite" ones seem to be steeped in dreamtime mythology ...

Brilliant, thanks. I don't care if they are made of "bakerlite", nylon, or redgum really, all they have to do is keep the terminals roughly in the right place once every few years.

Any idea on the price per pair off the top of your head? Save me a phone call?

If you have a (pretty much any, they generally won't sell to the general public though) trade ticket you can get them through AED, ashdowns or ingrams. Though probably easier if you are close to get them elsewhere.

For a pair you are probably looking at around $6, as the pre wired ones are about $3 each.

I can get them from a wholesaler for you, but it will cost you for the freight, so given the low price you would probably still be better off if you paid repco's markup!

Cheers, Dean

Drop in and see an auto sparky with a few cans, they'll probably do a swap

Another wholsaler to try is Ingrams. Although their connectors are pre-terminated with fly leads supplied.

Sorry, not too sure what I paid, I bought them with a whole lot of other stuff and can't find the invoice. Pretty cheap though ...
