2004 Triton & other Mitsubishi Questions

We've got a 10/2004 build date Triton GLS. It is a petrol (V6?), automatic, Dual Cab. I think the model is MK MY05. If it helps to ID it then here are the other details:
VIN: MMBJRK7605D030727
Engine No.: 6G72RP7046
From new it was fitted with Mitsubishi tray liner, TJM alloy bull bar & TJM canopy.
I made up a harness adapter to convert the radio harness to ISO type to fit an older Blaupunkt Melbourne Radio (harness was based on Aerpro AP7011 Magna Late Models single Plug connector) with the 10 stack CD unit behind the rear seat. A newer Blau will be going in soon. If anyone needs colours etc then I should be able to help.
Because cruise control wasn't a factory option, a Comand AP300 was fitted prior to pick up as well - longer warranty that way. We also fitted a Shu Roo (we reckon they do work) & I've got a nice Narva LED high level brake light to go on. It was only about $30 at trade price.
Now for a few questions.
Although I've fitted the radio & I'll be fitting another shortly, I would like info on the wiring diagrams etc. Anyone know where to get that or if they are the same or similar to other Mitsubishi vehicles. Similarly, I wouldn't mind some info on the drive train etc.
Has anyone done any work on a recent model triton? Any tricks to getting into the doors, fitting alarms to the door systems etc?
Also, I wouldn't mind fitting a trip computer system. I know I can buld one up OK, but is there a Mitsi or other brand unit that can be converted over or will work with this engine & drive train? Do any othe mitsi models use one that can be fitted?
The Triton has rear tail lights that are held in by screws or nuts inside the tray. With a canopy on & the Mitsi tray liner in place it is impossible to get to the nuts / screws. Does anyone have a recent model with tray liner but without a canopy? If so, can you see any way to locate those %&*$ screws when necessary. There are a couple of moulded in indents in the liner which is a genuine Mitsi but I don't know if they line up.
Several years ago we had a break in to a canopy on the vehicle that we had then. As a result, I bought some powder coated stainless steel mesh used for "crim safe" security screens on houses and got the local metal bashers to fold some aluminium to safe the edges. Self tappers from the inside mount these security mesh inserts on the inside of the canopy windows. The old ones worked well for 6 or 7 years - there were marks from 3 break in attempts in the first few weeks - so I did this again and fitted them to our new car. To space them over some screw heads, I used some of that 15mm wide soft "insulation" or "draft proofing" material used on windows & doors. THe screw heads just dig into it at those locations but it makes a nice finish & no rattles.
Its good to see sites like this . I do have photos of the screens & radio installs if any one wants to see but I don't know how to put them on.
Regards,
Brian.
