Hi guys, I am looking for a LT 230 transfer case for a custom conversion that I am doing. Just curious what high range and low range ratios came in what modles of Land Rover/Range Rover. Need to know which one to buy!
Thanks!

i think in some auto's(only range rover ) there was a 1-1 high range.
the 1.66-1 high range was in the four cyl petrol, n/a diesel d110
there are some aftermarket low range gear sets
Maxi-drive 30% low range gear set is 4.32-1
Maxi-drive 49% low range gear set is 4.95-1
these can be used with any high range gear set
Ashcroft in the uk make a crawler gear set which is an 85% reduction but can only be used with the 1.2-1 high range and comes as a complete set.
they also make a bolt on underdrive that mounts to the lt230

The later models with taper roller bearings on the intermediate gears are better than those with needle roller bearings.
