i had water in my tank once. i decided that throwing away the 120L i had in both tanks was a better option than trying to salvage it and hydraulicing the engine. only problem is i still have the 120L of diesel sitting in the garage.........

It makes a great parts washing fluid, either in a parts washer or in a bucket.
Also it is a great engine flush, about 1l to 4-5l oil. Run the engine with the diesel in it for about 2 minutes, then drain the oil. Washes the oil out of all the nooks and crannies, and washes it off the internal parts.

Depending on how much water you think is in there. Just leave it to settle then just undo the bung in the bottom and drain abit out.

Also I dont think there would be much water in there. Or the motor would have already crapped itself by not running. Also injected water I dont think will hydro a motor. It only squirts in the same amount of water as it would fuel, so exhuast cycle will push it out.

Another thing is the fuel pick up on a diesel GQ is about 5-10 mm of the bottom of the tank. No matter how much fuel is in there.

I would just run some good injecter cleaner / fuel stuff. I use diesel tech. Comes in either a 250ml or 1lt blue bottles. Cheaper than nulon and other brands. Think this stuff is made by chemtech.
