New YJ Jeep Owner

Post by VaughanS »

Hi There

I used to have a Pajero which I now sold to buy a YJ Wrangler 93 Renegade. 4ltr

The car already has a couple of modifications on it, such as throttle body, headers, 1.25" shackle lift, Pro Comp shocks and K&N Performance filter.

Are there anything I need to watch out for and any other mods to improve the car. I have heard that the Axles and driveshafts are weak, would the installation of a ARB front locker help this?

Thanks for the help
Vaughan

you do a lot of sand driving right?
i don't think breaking things would be much of a concern if that is the case. a locker won't help make axles stronger, maybe only encourage them to break under load..

please post a link to the video when you get it on two wheels or start drifting down 4 lane highways at incredible speeds :D
