I dont run Saveros but I do have another budget tyre, Nankang Mudstars. I havent had them for long but so far am very happy with them even on wet road. I'll be giving them a proper test on the 22nd October. Price wise I got 31's for $135 each at mates rates :) The only problem I've had is at Stockton they hardly bagged out at all under the light Jeep even when I went down to about 11psi. I expect that to improve after they have worn in a bit.

I had a set of savero's on my safari they were fine on the road but didnt clear very well offroad. They seem to have realy weak side walls to i split the side walls on two of them.

I now run the nankangs on my pajero and id say they perform better than the saveros on and off road

i run savero 33's on my cruiser and a few other peple i know run them and they all say that the savero is an underated tyre.one bloke i know said that his 33 saveros were better offroad than his mickey thompson radial claws and i have been on trips with people that are running simexs and the saveros go everywhere the simexs did.
i am a tyre fitter my self and we deal with savero and in 13 years we have never had a tyre come back and the average kilometers that they are getting are 80,000+.

A guy in the previous 4by club I was in bought some and they had like 6mm tread depth new (in suzi sized tyres).

Considering that most 4by tyres have 14mm+ and we're getting rid of muddies when they have 6-8mm tread as they're useless in the mud... make your own judgement.

yeah my mate has aet of 32 mudstars and they have performed quite well just liked the look of the tread on the saveros they look as though they would offer good traction and self cleaning what sort of price are they in 33 by 15 saveros and nangkangs
