A Frame Ball joint Probs

I think I accidently deleted the previous Ball joint topic.

To update, I am now pretty sure my ball joint is stuffed. Not just the dust cover. I have a 2" lift and Grimace has a ball joint made by maxi drive that he is selling so I will buy his.

I manged to brake my diff on the weekend so I decided to sell the Rangie.

It's OK, I am going to keep it now. I got to thinking on how well she performed before it broke and with the lack of an alternatives I was happy with, I convinced myself to spend the money (sometime in the future) to upgrade the axles and diffs.

I am running 33's and my diff was already on its last legs if diff slap is a guide. I don't like the sound of the front also. Maybe I should put my 31's on until I have spent money on axle and diff mods.

Thanks guys for your imput on the previous thread.

also the slap and clunk in the rear is most prob from your stuffed ball joint.

Do you know exactly wats busted in the diff??? Might be worth asking Sam and the Haultech boys if they have any rover gear (preferably an entire rear diff) lying around just to get it up and running again. Your not far from them, so use that to your advantage d00d :D

Don't worry Anthony, I won't betray the Rangie. I will still keep it. Thanks heaps for the ball joint thingo. The diff is definitely stuffed. I am able to get one this afternoon so hopefully this one won't be worn too much.

Yes it is the rear that is stuffed but I have some diff slap in the front so I am not confident about that either.
