more annoying body lift and bullbar Q's

Body lift itself doesnt bother me at all, plenty of info out there and it looks like a straight forward job. its the actual modifying the bar to suit.

done a search and couldnt find any photo's or clear descriptions on what people have done. The bar and car in question is a '88 swb GQ with an ARB winch bar.

had a quick look at it and I'm thinking that the C type section that hugs the chassis can be scalloped out and extended and gussetted to suit, but I got this bad feeling its not gunna look as "standard" as it should so any pics or idea's of what people out there have done would be much appreciated. (or someone in melb western suburbs that would and can do it cheap)

Cheers
Simon

you could also cut the front of the chassis and lift it.
just cut it of past the body mounts ,
bolt it back up ,
weld the chassis and gusset it.
