Stand to be corrected but I think there are three oil seals per side, two in outer hub area and one inside axle housing, could be any one. Probably make more sense to change all if you're gonna open it up. Get seals from a bearing supplier, Nissan ones are very expensive.

If it is leaking oil, the seal on the inside on the drive shaft has to be changed.
That is the only seal that stops the oil from the diff to get to the CV housing.
The large seals on the outside stops the grease coming out and water coming in.

I just did my steering knuckle kit about 2 months ago. It was leaking from on the seal on the inner of the steering knuckle. ( from the bit thats looks like a ball.) The kits i got was about $150. Fairly good to install. Replaced all seals and bearings. Afterwards oil leak > GONEEE.......

Yeah so you replaced axle shaft oil seal as well as all the other seals. As Rob says when oil leaks from knuckle flange it is axle shaft oil seal. All other seals are to keep grease in and water out.

Y not do the job right and do renew all seals while you are there? Check your bearings in the knuckle too. They can get a bit hows ya father. They should come in the kit if you decide to do them.
