How to increase departure angles?

Has anyone increased the departure angle on a 60 or 80 series? Without bobing the rear, how much of the lower rear quater can be removed and is it leagle? Pics?

Angle grinder + 35's :D ..... or just let the rocks do the cutting for ya :? , i have a friend in a 60 who looses a little bit more of his rear bumper each time we go out :armsup:

The legality thing.... Hmmm.... so long as you dont impact crash compatibility (eg mount no bumper or mount the bumper really high) then you should be ok.

As far as I know there's no ADR's about how long panels have to be :D So long as it's well sealed so fumes can't get in you should be right for legality.

The obvious thing is new mudflaps and mounts.




Most of us have issues about taillight height and bumper height when we jack the 4wd up a bit anyway. The guidelines in the ADR allow a fair amount of leeway though.
