Looks like a poor relation/copy of one of these - the Dakar/Bush Rangie:

Actually the 2nd pic looks like a real (range rover based) Dakar.

the rover based ones are awsome the parents drove a few around wilst trying to raffle one off
they were pretty cool and relaxing
i rember the owner of the place that sells them here
john davies or some thing close he had a custom one of his own with full hydraulic suspension
thats going back a few years though probally about 10 or 12 years ago if not more

IIRC the Dakar 4x4 body shell started out as a widened and lengthened Rotrax body shell (with permission from the Rotrax designer). IIRC Rotrax were originally for Cortina base, but later adapted to Suzukis etc.
John Davis imported and built a few Dakar 4x4 kits, then started manufacture here. At one time those manufactured here were called Bush Rangie, later they were called Bush Ranger (once problem with name rights were sorted).
John Davis still makes them.
Rhino Buggies wanted to import/build Dakar 4x4, but they stuffed him around too much.
I think Rovacraft in WA also import Daka 4x4.
Dave (Bushy555) could correct me if I am wrong.
BTW I can't see the pics.
