Leaky lift pump overhaul ???

Post by Rough60 »

Hi all,
Noticed some diesel drip off the front diff the other day, quick squiz at the lift pump and under it was wet. looks like it's coming from where the hand primer screws in. Has no prob starting or running, even up steep tracks so I don't think air is getting in. Will change the washer and hand primer, any other things you guys reccommend be done at the same time?
Is the Hand primer commonly replaced after 20 odd years?
Thanks,

Yes, hand primers are one of the first items to go on the 2H. I'd do a regular change of the fuel filter and draining the water separator.
