I am in the process off doing my own five link. Just arfter some pics and ideas. Got most off it worked out, just not shore on control arm size and how to make top arms adjustable.

Guys I built my own 18 months ago used 1inch pipe with a wall thickness of 1/4 inch think its shed 40 I welded a 1inch unf nut to one end of the arm and weled a 6 inch section of threaded bar to the other mount and then ran a locking nut on the threaded section this makes the 4 arms all adjustable in length so you can set your castor angle and you can move your diff forwards for more clearance when off roading i back the lock nuts of so as the front end rotates the threaded bar can rotate inside the nut and put no strain on the end bushes works fine just lock the nuts back up on road i would use johny joints but they are to expensive

Lookin cool shortygq so your mount on the rear is removeable by the looks
Wat size or those arms and is there any particular technical areas to keep in mind and check wen manufacturing?

Looks good like the bolt on mount.
For all you do it yourselfers I would use rear controll arm bushes for the joints they are cheap and will last longer.

Nice work dude little truck looks the biz, how does it handle highway speeds? I ask cos a couple of guys I know have 5 link & say 80-90Ks is all they are game to take it to cos it handles like a stork on speed. (not sure what a stork on speed looks like but that was one quote) Be interested to hear your version!

when I built mine I used 1 inch schedual 80 pipe for the links and rear control arm bushes would use originals if you can get them but they cost more or rod ends I also used 1 inch unf threaded bar so that they are adjustable bolted the rear locating brakets into the area just in front of were the radius arm fits so if i have to remove its all just bolt in the front brakets are bolted to the rear botl that locates the front end of the radius arm and 2 over bolts above and below it so the brackets can be removed have been running this set up for 1 year no problems just cut my front shock towers down to get maximun travel and raise the rear lower shock mounts 3 inches to get maximun rear travl makes heaps of difference now getting 1750 up a 30 degree ramp with 35 inch tyres on
