Single cab to xtra cab swap

Flipped the truck on the weekend
Too much roof damage and cabin needs replacing
Been offered an xtra cab
Question is are the mounting points (on the chassis) the same for single cab and xtra cab? ie Will the xtra cab bolt straight onto a single cab chassis?
Truck is 89 but bodies from 85 to 95 seem the same (cosmetic changes)

Cheers

The short answer is yes they fit but....
You will need to cut the front tray mounting points off the chassis (either side of fuel tank crossmember) and make a new flat fuel tank crossmember

I done a 2 inch lift at the same time (fitting 33's) so I did not need to change the tank crossmember

Easy but fiddley job takes ages connecting all the hoses and wires back up. Helps if you another truck there to copy from

Oh and it looks efen hot
Now got a 96 extra cab on a 89 chassis with 2' lift
(RTA don't care as the are only concerned with the chassis)
Next job is too cut the rear chassis rails about 6 inches (back to the rear spring perches) and shorten to tray to suit for less depatrure angle

Noisey,
Youre sounding like my brother the Pornmeister "Where's the pics"

The truck is not quiet finished yet
Another week or two
Waiting on tyres (Yokahama 33s at a good price)
Need to paint a couple of panels, shorten the tray and a raise the bull bar
I will post photos when completed

Cheers
