Hey all I am very excited as I will be picking up my Patrol on the weekend. I bought it off ebay for $600. Its a 1984 LWB with petrol/gas conversion.
There is a couple of things wrong with it as you would expect for a car that cost $600 but even if it is not worth doing up, ill be able to strip it down and sell for parts.
I'm hoping if all goes to plan, to put a set of 35's on her, but just wondering what sort of set up I should do for the lift that is required. I'm not to sure how high it needs to be lifted.
Anyways I just thought I would share this with all of you.

Just tried putting pictures on but it wont work. Hopefully Ill figure it out soon.

good work buddy MQ's are tuff as nails and very reliable, i have one 4 sale if ur interested in another btw :P the best and cheepest way to get 35's under one is 2" body lift, 2" extended shackles and an angle grinder to the guards and with the right rim offset you should fit them no problems.

I just put 35s on my MQ, it fit straight up but I *MIGHT* have had 2" lifted springs in it without me knowing, and I put a 2" bodylift in it and have driven it about 50m since so i dunno if it scrubs...
