Dimensions of the Maverick badge?

Is the Maverick badge or the Nissan Patrol badge that are located on the front guards glued on or do they have locating pins.

If pins, does anyone know the how many pins hold them on to the guard and what are the dimensions for the spacing between the pins?

on my 88 gq they are just stuck there, it came off one day and there were no holes and i just glued it back on.
