OK, interested to hear peoples toughts about the best front linkage setup for the 40.
Going to put GQ Diff's under with a triangualted 4 link in the back. Was considering leaving the leaf spring setup in the front but having second thoughts cause I think the leaves may cause issues with the steering.
Remember it needs to be strong because I have been known to be a bit enthisiastic with the loud pedal.
What has anyone done already to a 40.
Thanks

I find leaves up front a good set up for me. Inn a soa application with reverse shackle is great. On top of that if you put longer leaves in its beeter again. My revesre shackle set up is great, need longer shocks but great. But screwys setup is the same but went ifs hilux rears up front is even better again. Also easier to set up aswell imho.

This is definately the easiest option but I'm not sure if I will get issues with the tie rod position and drag link setup

Do it properly the first time and put a 4link up front with FoxAirshox. If it is used on road, chuck on a swaybar.

I read it hear some wear that you can fit the MQ/MK swivil hubs, that way yo have a better tie rod postion and is easier to set up with cross over or hi steer. Just a thought.
