they are needed when your caster is out, which is when the axis of the diff turns away from the working axis axis of the steering, sorta, for want of a better explination....anyways. if u look at the angle if the tierod and steering arms on the knuckles, if they arnt parell with the ground sorta, then insted of pushing the wheels directly left of right, it pushes them sorta out at the top on the inside wheel.. for an amiplified efect picture the front diff was turned back 90 degrees so the tierod was on top and the steering arms pointed skywards, when u turned the wheel they wouldnt go left or right, instead they would move in and out at the top and from the front, when turning, your wheels would look like this \ ---- \ note that this is with a 90 degrees of altering the diff, yours would be out 2 or 3 degrees at the most, so the effect is hardly noticeable..

hope im makin sence

with extended shackles like yours in a lux 3 degrees normally fixes things, but because you dropped the hangers as well prob 2 degrees would fix it..

Instead of wedges I got an adjustable dropped drag link and torque rod. I know Its more expensive but at least nothing is stretched and twisted and everything can be adjusted with future mods.

They are a waste of time. Look into Xover instead. Better in the long run.

this wont fix caster probs man.. it will fix the geomitry of the steering when the diff is moved forward or back, so you have the wheels pointing forwards when the steering wheel is in the middle.. but that has nothing to do with caster
