SECOND AIR INER BEAD LOCKS WHAT DO U THINK THE GOODS AND BADS?

Seal both sides and cost a lot less than good qaility steel bead locks. Work really well. But they are more difficult to strip a tyre down compared to a steel beadlock. I have been running mine for a year and a half and have had no problems with them.

I`ve seen and heard of many busting.

I myself don`t like em.

I have had a lot of mates run them and were unhappy with their performance. All of them, (4 different blokes) were disappointed and have sold them and opted for mechanical bead locks. The +'s were that it is a lot harder for the coppers to notice them as they are 95% hidden, but they have all had problems with crud being stuck in the bead more often than not. I suppose it all depends on where you are driving and what pressures you are running, but my opinion is mechanical all the way.

Ive had mechanical beadlocks for years and have never lost a bead, ive been driving with guys with secondairs (3 different occasions) and seen the tyre get pushed off the rim on long ruts were it gradually pushed the bead untill the air escaped. I had one on a trip where the tyre bead was pushed over the top of the second air and there was no way of unjamming on the trail. It depends on what type of trail driving you do and they are cost effect compared to mechanical bead locks.

the benifit of the steel ring is they strenghten the rim as well. seen internals leak after hitting a log, but that was easy fixed with a hammer
