Unfortunately the Jimna Winch Challenge is on that weekend at Cruiser Park. This is the first of a new series and any vehicle that has finished in the top 5 of an extreme wicnh challenge is not allowed to enter. This is meant to encourage new people to the sport.

The show is at lawnton show grounds, gates open at 10am each day.
the ASCC show starts at 7.00pm friday and 7.30 on saturday. I have just got home for putting the final touchs to the track and it will be quite hard in some spots, this year we have a clay pan to put on a show, wet clay that is, so you should see some ego on show each night. there is nother like an angry V8 on slippry stuff. any competitors who don;t know what to do what time give a call at home tonight or tomorrow.

see you there, and we have some stuff to give away each night.

great fun.....the bobcat kept making the tracks harder so we got to drive a few different tracks.
damage was confined to a cv in mr sheetmentals [oops i mean sheetmetal] 40 series and possibly something on the bobtail rangie but i left while they were still checking it out.
Manny did a great job on the microphone and glenn did a brilliant job on the track design.
My new swampers worked well and i was pretty happy with how we went, can't wait for the locker to arrive though.
the crowd sure liked it, especially when some "close to rolling" action happened :D

thanks to all who had a go. Brian elliott had a go in his production class zook and has now set the bench mark for the production class tracks for round 3. the crowd were really excited and stayed to the end. our profile as a proffessional outfit (ASCC) is now known in this area and with the showmans guild.

the presentation and quality of vehicle for the ASCC is second to none and the manner in which the competitors approach the comp is proffessional, this is the only way we as 4wdrivers will get the profile we need.

there is some big things planned for 2004 with the ASCC in QLD, NSW and VIC. I make no secret for the fact that I want the profile of our sport lifted to a proffessional level.

NSW and VIC get ready because the ASCC will be in your states next year.

Good work Glen, I really enjoyed being at the show and the guys and girls did a great job of promoting 4wdriving for all. Manny did a great job on the mike. Wes is soooooooo going to be fined for "nearly" running me over. (Notice this has nothing to do with me being in the wrong spot at the wrong time - ) Well done. :D
