Just wondering about using a 1.6 vit short motor and puting my g13ba head and parts on that? can you do this conversion and what year 1.6 would be best?

As for what year well any one that comes from an 8v not a 16v so G16A
You want this so the piston match the head... other wise it's virtually the same as any other 1.6 conversion.. engine mounts and adaptor
(i have never done this so someone jump in and correct me if i'm wrong)
Still haven't got a definite yes or no on whether the cylinder head volumes are the same on the different between the g13 and g16 heads. If the g13 was smaller it would be good as it would increase your compression, the bad thing is your valves are definitely smaller
